Subtle Amnesia
Subtle Amnesia is an evolving music project. Simon Grundy, is a one man band prioritising new sounds, he draws inspiration from dark music of the 70s and 80s with a more indie alternative sound that's often bass heavy. Subtle Amnesia discuss with new ideas and the more grim aspect of reality in their music. Subtle Amnesia was established in 2021 and is from the Hawkes Bay. It is now on a quest to have an album released by June 2023.

I am a person who loves and has an interest and adoration for all music, but particularly that from the 70s and 80s. I love to try blend old Ideas with new ones and have sombre or deep feeling undertones and currents to the music I create. I strongly believe in creating music that's honest to the core, warts and all. I am aiming to be able to build a part time career in music. Producing music through albums and touring. This will be supplemented with another part time Career in the film industry as they are both my passions.
